While the S30 Pro retains the compact 30mm aperture of the original model, it introduces several “Pro” level upgrades:

- 8.3MP Main Camera: A huge leap from the 2MP sensor found in the S30 and S50. The new Sony IMX585 sensor allows for 4K imaging with significantly better low-light sensitivity.
- 48MP Wide-Angle Camera: The secondary camera is no longer just a utility tool. With a high-resolution sensor, it can now capture Milky Way landscapes and Star Trails via a dedicated in-app mode.
- Massive Field of View: The S30 Pro offers a FOV roughly four times wider than the S50. You can now capture the entire Andromeda Galaxy in a single frame without using the mosaic mode.
- Modern Features: Includes NFC tap-to-connect and an increased 128GB internal storage capacity.
